Activities:
Activities include: mentoring elementary school age girls; advocating for AAUW mission through the Issue/Action Group; studying the importance of diversity through the Diversity Book Group; raising monies for local scholarships through various fundraisers; studying foreign policy through Great Decisions seminars; donating books for young children in lieu of member holiday exchange; participating as judges in the Sussex county Science Fair and presenting C-G AAUW awards to winners; sponsoring 2 ALA Notable Book Groups, one at the South Coastal Library and one at the Lewes Library; sponsoring a NY Times Notable Book Group at the South Coastal Library.

Interest groups include Monday Book Group, Drama/Book Group, Great Decisions Discussion Group, Saturday Night Gourmet, Antiques Group. Members meet monthly at the home of the Interest Group host. For referrals, please contact the branch president. Annual activity, in partnership with Coastal-Georgetown, is the statewide Math Science Luncheon honoring high school junior women who excel in these fields.

Activities:
Branch offers informational programs and branch socials to give its members the opportunity to know each other on a first name basis and develop positive and lasting friendships. Seaford members work on local educational issues and offer several scholarships each year to area girls and women. Seaford sponsors an annual geranium sale to raise money for scholarships. Nationally recognized as a platinum branch!
