1. Delaware Aerospace Academy Level II Camp Scholarship
Tuition to the Academy’s summer camp is awarded to an area student who will be entering the 7th, 8th or 9th grade the following school year. An Aerospace Academy scholarship application is obtained from the student’s teacher and should be returned as per the application instructions. The recipient is chosen by the Academy in consultation with Seaford Branch member(s).
2. Undergraduate Scholarship
This scholarship is open to high school women in the Seaford School District who are in their senior year and will be enrolled in a 4-year college in the US working toward a BA or BS degree. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required. Other criteria/requirements include a completed AAUW application and essay, a transcript with grades through first semester of senior year, SAT scores and class rank. Contact the Seaford High School guidance office for more information.
3. Returning Woman Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to a resident of the Seaford, Bridgeville, Laurel, or Delmar School District who has completed a 2-year Associate Degree Program, at any time, at the Owens Campus (DTCC and University of Delaware Parallel) and plans to pursue a 4-year Bachelor Degree. This scholarship is to be used toward tuition only. Selection is based equally on a minimum GPA of 3.0 and financial need. The applicant must complete the AAUW Scholarship Application and the Financial Aid Application. Applications are available at the Owens Campus.
